Terms of service
Effective October 4, 2026
1. Who you are agreeing with
Sendocado is run by World United Studios Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong (“Sendocado”, “we”, “us”). These terms cover your use of sendocado.com, the Sendocado app, its API and its MCP server (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Sendocado for a company, you agree for that company and confirm you may do so.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 to use Sendocado. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done with your API keys or by agents and apps you connect. Keep keys secret, revoke ones you no longer use, and tell us at support@sendocado.com if you think someone else has access.
3. The Service
Sendocado lets you keep contacts, write campaigns, broadcasts and other emails, and send them through an email provider you connect. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something paid customers rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
4. Your email provider
Sendocado sends through the provider you connect (for example Resend, Amazon SES, Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun, an SMTP server or Gmail). You need your own account with that provider and must follow its terms. Their fees, limits, outages and decisions about your account are between you and them. Gmail sending is in beta.
5. Sending rules
You may only email people who have agreed to hear from you, or whom the law otherwise lets you email. You must follow our acceptable use policy and the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you and your recipients, such as CAN-SPAM, the GDPR, PECR and CASL. You must give a real postal address for your marketing email; Sendocado adds it to the footer together with an unsubscribe link.
We may pause sending, or suspend an account, when bounce or spam complaint rates, provider reports or the content of emails show a breach of these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first.
6. Plans and payment
The free plan and the paid plans, with their limits, are listed on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew until you cancel. You can cancel in Settings at any time; your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for. Payments are not refunded for part of a period, except where the law requires it. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; the new price applies from your next renewal.
When you reach a plan limit, new contacts are refused and emails wait until the next month or until you upgrade. The free plan adds a small “Sent with Sendocado” link to your emails.
7. Your content
You own your contacts, your emails and everything else you put into Sendocado (“Your Content”). You give us permission to store, copy, process and send Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You confirm that you have the right to use Your Content, including the contact data you upload, and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
8. AI drafts and agents
Sendocado can draft campaigns with AI, and agents you connect can act in your account through the MCP server or the API. Drafts can be wrong. Read what an AI or an agent writes before it goes live: you are responsible for every email sent from your account.
9. Personal data
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. For the contact data you add, you are the controller and we are your processor under our Data processing addendum, which forms part of these terms.
10. Our rights
The Service, its software, design and brand belong to World United Studios Limited. While you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer it, get around its limits or security, or use it to build a competing product.
If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
11. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the Service, our providers or other people at risk. When an account is closed, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy. The sections on content, payment, liability and disputes still apply after an account is closed.
12. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any email will be delivered, opened or kept out of spam folders.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Sendocado is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
14. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, for claims that come from Your Content, the emails you send, or your breach of these terms or the law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email account owners about changes that matter at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong decide any dispute about them. This does not remove consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
17. General
These terms, the privacy policy, the acceptable use policy and the data processing addendum are the whole agreement between you and us. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger or sale.
